Making the most of your first legal consultation

What to bring, what to ask, and what happens next.

The first consultation is where your lawyer understands your situation and tells you, frankly, where you stand. The better prepared you are, the more precise that first assessment will be.

What to bring

  • A copy of your Emirates ID or passport.
  • The contracts, invoices, cheques or correspondence related to the matter.
  • Any notice, claim, judgment or police document you have received.
  • A short timeline of events with dates.

Questions worth asking

  • What are my options, and what are the risks of each?
  • Are there deadlines I must not miss?
  • How long is this likely to take, and how will fees be structured?

After the meeting

You will leave with a clear view of your position and the recommended next step. If you decide to proceed, we confirm the scope of work and fees in writing before any action is taken.
